Quick and Easy Lazy Wonton Soup with Flavorful Broth

Ingredients:

1 (32 ounces) carton low-sodium chicken broth
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon minced ginger
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1 (9 ounces) package refrigerated wonton wrappers
2 green onions, thinly sliced
Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish (optional)

Directions:
1. In a large pot, combine the chicken broth, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced ginger, minced garlic, and crushed red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
2. While the broth is simmering, prepare the wonton wrappers. Cut each wrapper into quarters to create smaller pieces.
3. Carefully drop the wonton pieces into the simmering broth, stirring gently to prevent sticking.
4. Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the wonton pieces are cooked through and tender.
5. Remove the pot from the heat and ladle the soup into bowls.
6. Garnish with sliced green onions and fresh cilantro leaves, if desired.
